Abbey Rise is owned by Swale Borough Council and has a play area which has recently been updated. The area is popular with the local community with several housing estates adjacent to the site. The site is fenced and gated and is popular with dog walkers. The area has various pathways criss crossing the site and areas of grass are left unmown to attract wildlife. The field is undulating but has areas of flat ground. Trees and whips have also been planted, particularly along the perimeter. Maintenance of Abbey Rise is carried out by Blenwood Grounds Maintenance who are contracted by Swale Borough Council to maintain the area along with our team of in-house Park Rangers who carry out all repairs and inspection of the play area.
