The Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry

In April 2011 Fields in Trust was honoured to be the very first charity to receive a grant from The Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry. The generous donation towards The Queen Elizabeth II Fields Challenge represents a commitment to ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to fulfil their potential in life and recognises the important role that outdoor spaces play in the lives of young people.

Hon The Lord Mayor of the City of London, has selected five charities to benefit from his Appeal: Barts and the London Charity on behalf of the Trauma Unit at The Royal London Hospital, The Rowing Foundation, London Youth Rowing, Futures for Kids and Fields in Trust.

The Big Jubilee Lunch: Sunday 3rd June 2012
The Big Lunch is a simple idea from the Eden Project, encouraging people across the UK to have lunch with their neighbours once a year, for a few hours of community, friendship and fun.

This year, the event proudly supports The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations on Sunday 3rd June.  You can hold your event in an open space, much like a Have a Field Day event, or in the street, back garden or community venue. So find out how to hold a Big Lunch, and maybe make it part of your Have a FIeld Day. Or call 0845 850 8181 to speak to the Big Lunch.
